This book is fairly short and that works well for younger children with a short attention span. I would say this book is best for the 4-6 year old range. As with all the Baby Professor series the pictures are stunning. Adults and children alike will enjoy learning new facts. Even as an adult I enjoyed the book and wish it was longer.It is a great little book that is delivered in bite size pieces for young children to understand and enjoy. Each page features a fact and a pertinent picture. These are a great starting point for a deeper conversation that you can tailor to their age and curiosity. I recommend reading the Kindle version on a computer or color tablet to get the full effect of the color pictures.
I received the opportunity to review many of the Baby Professor books and I highly recommend them. I love the idea of electronic books. You can download a whole bunch of different books for the kids to read. Kids will love to read them over and over again and enjoy the pictures. I love that they are learning based and not just silly little stories with no meaning. I have no problem letting them sit down with the tablet and look through books, plus it is portable!

On this kind of children’s books one usually finds excellent photos and basic references that are quite suitable for the underage, for those small family members at home, for those parents who love to teach their children at home and this type of books serve well for teaching purposes at school too.
This book refers about how it happens, how it develops and the reasons why they, sometimes explode, all in reference to Volcanoes.
Beautiful photographs with several important facts showing different earth and weather conditions that influence for a volcano to release its power. Some photos are kind of dramatic based on the destruction that any of these earth’s phenomenon can affect. Anyway, this is one excellent publication good for teaching purposes at home and school.
This is a good supplemental resource for my lessons on land forms and natural disasters that occur on land forms.My students are obsessed with Volcanoes. We spent an entire month learning about land forms, how new islands form and the ring of fire. The stuednts just can't get enough of volcanic eruptions .

I like to use in my kindle in whole group and small group discussions. Occasionally, I let my students work together and read their books electronically. I like them to learn at their own pace and gravitate towards books that grasp their attention as learners.
I think the Baby Professor books are encouraging students to explore their interests throughout their learning journey. I have reviewed baby professor books of different subjects such as history and science. What each book does is provide information, allowing students and teachers to create environments of learning. It also provides colored photos . We discuss the topics and then write down questions that we have which we would still like to explore.
Baby Professor Science books leave students with information and photos which can spark their interests. I look forward to reading more of their books in my class and am glad I was able to add these to my classroom library.
This was another awesome book! The Baby Professor books are great tool when wanting to have your young readers start learning new subjects.These are great quick reads that are visually stimulating as well as fun to read. These are meant to be reference tools not whole subject books. Each of the books tend to be about 18 pages long, just enough to intrigue growing minds. I nanny two young children and I'm always trying to keep them busy with new things to do. I really like that I can download these books onto my tablet with the kindle app and have access to them whenever I want. It makes it a lot easier than carrying around a whole bunch of books and cleanup is amazing! I like to have these available when we are running errands and the kids are bored. They are just enough information that allows the kids to learn something in a short period but even makes them excited to learn more about the subjects. " Volcanoes Why do they happen" is an interesting book that describes volcanoes, how they are formed, and why and how they erupt.This is perfect for young little readers, both boy and girls, who like learning new things.
